Niels Diffrient developed the Liberty Side to showcase the same complete-body comfort found in Humanscale task chairs but made with lightweight, recyclable and long-lasting materials.
A configuration driven by Humansalce's enthusiasm for the earth, the Liberty Side seat was made to push the limits of moderation found in the Liberty task seat and be as basic and naturally cordial as could reasonably be expected, without giving up Humanscale's way of thinking of complete, programmed comfort.
